Elbert joined WestMark Commercial in March 2015. The preceding 32 years were spent in public education as a teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent in the West Texas area. He is ready to take 40 plus years of experience in agriculture, oil field exploration, commercial construction, and renewable energy systems to the level or serving the commercial real estate client and industry.
Personal:
Elbert Wuthrich was born in Littlefield, TX of Lamb County where the Wuthrich family farm is located. Growing up in West Texas allowed the rich experiences of farming and ranching to be a daily part of life. After completing a pre-veterinary medicine degree at Texas A&M University, Elbert worked for two years in the South Texas oil field, logging wells from Del Rio to Crystal City. In 1983, Elbert returned to the greater Lubbock area and became a public educator while obtaining a Masters of Education at Texas Tech University. It was at this time that he married his childhood sweetheart, Jana, and they have been blessed with 4 amazing creations of God. Jacie is a professional photographer and tax consultant in Lubbock, Cassie is currently attending medical school in San Diego, Logan works in Lubbock as a technology technician, and Bailey is attending Texas Tech University working toward a degree in business.
